The living situation.
To start things off, for all those of you who aren't likely to get a chance to visit, here are some pictures of my apartment. Please excuse the bad stitching together on the rooms where one picture just wasn't big enough.
This is what you see when you walk in. The bathroom is on the left out of sight. The closed door is the water heater closet. The far door on the left is the bedroom. And the door on the right is the kitchen/living room.
Moving on, in a clockwise direction:

The bathroom. Nothing too exciting here.

The bedroom. Bed and storage basically. There is a ridiculous amount of storage space in here. There are the two dressers that you can see and there is also a bigger one in the front left corner that you can't see. The entire right-hand wall is those mirrored wardrobes. And the base of the bed has four drawers in it.

The kitchen. It's basically one wall of the living space. There is also a ridiculous amount of storage in here. We have a drawer in the kitchen that's just for twist-ties at the moment. Small fridge, washing machine, and crazy hot-air heated oven are built into the wall of cupboards. For the first time, we actually have a kitchen table we can sit and eat at.

The living room area. Note the abundance of standard black Ikea furniture.

This is the view from the living room window that we see when sitting on the couch. The big green space is Midsummer Common. Off to the right behind the trees is the river Cam. Next to the river and just before the line of trees in the back is a pub. This is only about the 4th closest pub to us.
So that's the official tour. Hope you enjoyed it.
